9th Grade Admission

2010-2011 Academic Year
The Bishop Kenny High School Office of Admissions is currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year for incoming ninth grade students. All applicants are required to take the EXPLORE academic placement test to determine placement in the math, science and English.

Please be advised that the following items are required to complete the admission process:
1. A complete copy of the student's 6th, 7th and 8th grade transcripts
2. A copy of the most current standardized test scores
3. Florida Certificate of Immunization (form DH 680)
4. Completed application for admission (form provided by Bishop Kenny)
5. Completed letter of recommendation from previous school (form provided by Bishop Kenny)
6. Copy of the student's birth certificate
7. Copy of the baptismal certificate (if student is Catholic)
8. Results of EXPLORE academic placement test

Once an application is complete, the student and parent(s) or guardian(s) will be invited to schedule an admissions interview.

** If you are interested in a transfer to Bishop Kenny for the 2009-10 academic year please contact the Admissions Office as soon as possible. Each transfer will be evaluated on an individual basis depending on current classes, grades, discipline records, etc.
