Purpose: To provide the opportunity for rising ninth grade students to spend time on campus prior to the beginning of the school year and to feel comfortable at their new school while preparing for a college preparatory environment. Students will participate in hands-on, fast-paced activities as they learn to navigate the school, read a class schedule and improve their memory skills. Instructors and counselors will emphasize team building and success strategies for freshman year as they acclimate students to high school life.
Session Dates: Wednesday, July 5 – Friday, July 7 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Fee: $100 Registration Deadline: May 15, 2017
Group size will be limited to 100 students. Registration will be processed in the order of receipt of registration form and payment.
All students must comply with the summer school uniform dress code:
Navy blue or khaki walking shorts (shorts no more than 2” above top of knee cap), slacks or Capri pants (no overalls, painter pants, or jeans) belt, solid white Bishop Kenny uniform shirt (must be tucked in at the waist), and shoes or sandals (no flip-flops or backless shoes).
All demographic and emergency information on the 2017-18 Application for Admission will be used for summer program.
