Alexis Wilson '26: 32nd Annual Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team

Alexis Wilson ’26 has been named to the 32^nd Annual Florida High School Athletic Association’s 2026 Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team, a prestigious statewide honor recognizing graduating seniors, 12 girls and 12 boys, who exemplify excellence in both athletics and academics.

On the course and the track, Alexis has built a remarkable career at Bishop Kenny. She is a three-time state champion, was named Cross Country MVP in 2025, and is a member of the school-record-holding 4x1600 meter relay team, accomplishments that place her among the most decorated distance runners in program history.

Her success extends well beyond competition. In the classroom, Alexis has earned AP Scholar with Distinction and will graduate with the AP Capstone Diploma, one of the most rigorous academic honors available to high school students. Her commitment to both her studies and her sport reflects the true spirit of a Bishop Kenny scholar-athlete.

This fall, Alexis will attend Emory University, where she plans to major in neuroscience and behavioral biology while pursuing her long-term goal of attending medical school.

Reflecting on her journey, Alexis shared, “Running taught me that discipline, consistency, and patience lead to success. More importantly, running at Bishop Kenny has shown me the power of being on a team where we all work together and cheer each other on to achieve those special milestones.”
