The Bishop Kenny Crusaders continue to demonstrate excellence in academics and innovation, earning top honors at the Northeast Florida Regional Science & Engineering Fair (NEFRSEF) on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Their dedication to learning through scientific discovery utilizing the scientific method is to be commended.
Congratulations to our outstanding Crusaders who brought home well-deserved recognition:
- Christopher Trinidad ’28 placed 1st in Behavioral & Social Sciences and received a special award
- Viktoriia Galushchak ’28 placed 1st in Computer Science and received a special award
- Joshua Inocencio ’27 placed 2nd in Behavioral & Social Sciences and received three special awards
- Nora Mullahy ’27 placed 2nd place in Chemistry and received two special awards
- Maxine Cruz ‘27 & Katherine Epps ’27 received a special award in Biochemistry
- Gabriella Borges-Collado ‘27 & Violet Gramzow ’27 placed 3rd in Botany with a team project
- Mia Blocksom ’28 received a special award in Physics & Astronomy
Christopher Trinidad, Joshua Inocencio, and Viktoriia Galushchak earned the distinction of competing at the Florida State Science and Engineering Fair March 25-27, showcasing their exceptional research on a broader stage.
A special congratulations to Christopher Trinidad, who will represent NEFRSEF at the prestigious International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Christopher’s groundbreaking project, Emotion Prediction and Virtual Reality AI Model, secured him a spot among the world’s top young scientists. Competing in the Behavioral Science category, his remarkable work highlights the bright future of scientific exploration and technology-driven solutions.
