Congratulations: Eagle Scouts 2025

Bishop Kenny High School is proud to recognize three of our seniors who have earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout through their dedication to leadership and service. Matthan Cabotage, Davin Lucas, and Mason Cassady have each demonstrated a strong commitment to bettering the Jacksonville community through their Eagle Scout projects.

Senior Matthan Cabotage (Troop 304) gave back to his roots by constructing an outdoor classroom for students at his alma mater, Sacred Heart Catholic School. His project provides a unique learning space where young students can engage with nature while furthering their education.

Senior Davin Lucas (Troop 252) designed and built a movable STEM lab bench for students at St. Matthews Catholic School. His project enhances hands-on learning opportunities for science and technology education. In addition to his work as an Eagle Scout, Davin is a cadet in Bishop Kenny’s NJROTC program and an active member of the school’s competition drone team.

Senior Mason Cassady (Troop 276) extended his service beyond the classroom by assisting the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing big cats and educating the public. Mason built two picnic tables for visitors and crafted a specialized hammock for the sanctuary’s tigers, improving their enrichment and quality of life.

Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout is a remarkable accomplishment, requiring years of dedication, leadership, and community involvement. We are incredibly proud of Matthan, Davin, and Mason for their contributions and for embodying the values of Bishop Kenny High School through their service.

Congratulations to our newest Eagle Scouts!
