March Students of the Month: Seth Paulus & Emily Rrukaj

Bishop Kenny High School is proud to announce that seniors Seth Paulus and Emily Rrukaj have been selected as the March Students of the Month! This month’s distinction, known as "Teachers’ Choice," is awarded to students who exemplify respect, dependability, and citizenship—core values of our school community. Both Seth and Emily have demonstrated outstanding commitment to academic excellence, service, and leadership.

Seth Paulus has dedicated an impressive 330 hours to service while actively participating in numerous clubs and honor societies. He is a member of the Spanish, History, and Science Clubs, as well as Rho Kappa, Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society, National Honor Society, English Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. Seth plans to attend Florida State University to study engineering. Reflecting on his time at Bishop Kenny, Seth shared, “I have the drive to ‘want to learn,’ and I really enjoy my classes and teachers at Bishop Kenny. I am looking forward to expanding my options in college and applying what I’ve learned in my four years at BK to the rest of my life.”

Emily Rrukaj stands out with an extraordinary 2,800 hours of service, embodying the spirit of giving and leadership. She serves as the President of Anchor Club, Vice President of the Science Club, and is an active member of the Student Ambassadors, Theatre, Spanish Club, and History Club. Additionally, she plays a significant role in the spiritual life of the school as an Altar Server and an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist. Emily is also a member of the Quill & Scroll, Thespian, and Spanish Honor Societies. She plans to attend Jacksonville University to study Occupational Therapy. Emily expressed her gratitude for the recognition, stating, “I am honored that my teachers see the qualities listed for the Student of the Month in me. Every day is a new day, and we have to follow God’s plan for our lives. I hope to bring joy through service to others.”

Congratulations to Seth and Emily on this well-deserved recognition! Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to service truly reflect the values of Bishop Kenny High School. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the future.
