Steeped in tradition, committed to excellence and anchored in faith, Bishop Kenny High School is a member of the Catholic Diocese of St. Augustine and serves 1,270 students in grades 9 through 12. We strive to partner with parents in the education and formation of their children in a Catholic environment.

Our rigorous courses prepare students for the demands of competitive colleges. The academic program is designed to meet the needs of all types of learners. Three different levels of courses are offered: College Preparatory, Honors and Advanced Placement.

The athletic programs at Bishop Kenny have a long tradition of excellence boasting 30 Team State Championships and 135 individual State Champions. BK Athletics takes pride in the development of each individual athlete to maximize their success physically, academically and spiritually.

Matthew Phan '24 Winner of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra Young Artist Competition

Congratulations to Bishop Kenny High School junior Matthew Phan winner of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra (JSYO) Young Artist Competition. As the winner of this prestigious competition Matthew was invited to play the opening piano solo supported by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra at the May 3^rd Jacksonville Symphony performance. He played Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18 III Allegro Scherzando by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Phan has been playing piano since he was four years old and has won competitions on the local, state, and national levels. He manages a challenging academic schedule and has been a first honors student since his freshman year at BK. He is also a member of the National Spanish Honor Society. Matthew is the principal keyboardist of the JSYO Philharmonic and plays for Bishop Kenny and his church on the weekends.
