November Students of the Month: Ryan Sampeur and Stella Jones

November Students of the Month: Ryan Sampeur and Stella Jones

Bishop Kenny High School proudly recognizes Ryan Sampeur and Stella Jones as the November Students of the Month. Selected by the Student Government Association, Ryan and Stella exemplify exceptional leadership, responsibility, and self-discipline, both in and beyond the classroom.

Ryan is a dedicated student-athlete and member of the BK track and field team, where he specializes in the 400m, 200m, and relay events. His commitment to service has led him to join the Army Reserves as a junior, completing basic training this past summer. After graduating in 2025, he will transition directly into Advanced Individual Training as he continues preparing for a future in military service.

With a goal of becoming a military police officer, Ryan ultimately hopes to pursue a law degree and one day work for the FBI. His mindset reflects his strong internal drive. “Self-discipline is very important to me; it makes me resilient because I always get back up after any setback and go back to the basics of what I know works,” he shared.

Stella is involved in multiple honor societies, including English, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, Science, and the National Honor Society. She is also an active member of Campus Ministry, Interact, Science, and Spanish Clubs, all while competing as a varsity soccer athlete.

A standout leader on and off the field, Stella has committed to the United States Naval Academy, where she will play soccer while studying aerospace engineering. As captain of the girls’ soccer team, she embraces teamwork and perseverance. Stella shared, “I try to demonstrate leadership through example. I approach everything with a strong work ethic and have found that working together as a team brings greater results,”

Ryan and Stella’s dedication to personal excellence and service to their community make them inspiring role models at Bishop Kenny. Congratulations to our November Students of the Month!
