Bishop Kenny High School is proud to recognize two outstanding seniors, Patrick Lanier and Tessa Massa, as the November Students of the Month. Both students have been chosen for exemplifying the values of leadership, responsibility, and self-discipline.
Patrick Lanier is a senior who leads with dedication, Patrick serves as the captain of the boys' cross-country team and is also a valued member of the track team. Representing Cross Country on the Athletic Student Council, Patrick is an active participant in the Spanish Club, and he demonstrates a passion for inspiring his peers. "I really enjoy the challenge of interacting with the guys on the soccer team and being team captain is rewarding because I want to bring the best out in everyone for the team," he shared. Patrick plans to attend Florida State University, aiming to pursue a career in law after graduation.
Tessa Massa also a senior and an athlete of many talents, Tessa captains the girls' cross-country team and plays on the varsity girls' soccer and track teams, having dedicated four years to each sport at Bishop Kenny. In addition to her athletic commitments, she is an active member of both the English and National Honor Societies and participates in the Interact Club. Tessa plans to continue her running career in college, aspiring to major in criminal justice and apply the values of discipline and dedication she’s honed through sports to her future pursuits.
Both Patrick and Tessa exemplify Bishop Kenny’s commitment to developing leaders who inspire those around them. We are proud to honor their achievements and know they will continue to shine both here and beyond. Congratulations to our November Students of the Month!
