International Students

Bishop Kenny High School is pleased to welcome international students to Jacksonville, Florida. Bishop Kenny is committed to providing a Catholic, college preparatory education to a diverse group of international students.

Bishop Kenny is registered with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and is authorized to issue I-20s to international students so they may acquire a visa. I-20 forms are issued only to those students who have been offered admission to Bishop Kenny High School.

International Applicants
International students seeking admission into Bishop Kenny High School will work through The Cambridge Institute of International Education. Bishop Kenny has partnered with The Cambridge Institute to assist students through the admissions process and proper placement. Apply to Become a Host Family
In addition to Bishop Kenny's college prep curriculum, international students are excited to achieve a true American experience by living with a host family. Interested families should live within a 30 minute commute from the school, have a spare bedroom and provide three meals a day.

In addition to this experience and the opportunity to guide a young international student, host families receive a monthly stipend of $1,100 and will be trained and supported by gphomestay.   See below for informational flyer:
