Location: John A. Baldwin Athletic Center, BKHS
The success of the Bishop Kenny basketball program has been built on a passion for excellence, enthusiasm, and a devoted love for the game. The staff’s goal is to improve every player’s skills. Our philosophy is based on the teaching of sound fundamentals and the execution of these fundamentals under game conditions. Bishop Kenny teams are characterized by their willingness to play hard, play smart, and play together.
The purpose of Camp 2023 is to teach and develop basketball skills in all phases of the game. The camp will be expertly organized, and the program will consist of warm-up, individual improvement stations, competitive drills, and league competition. Experienced coaches will give individualized instruction and work with campers groups by age and abilities. Camp features include 5-on-5 league competition, individual awards, instructional and motivational lectures, offensive and defensive skills drills, and a low camper/staff ratio.
Message from Coach Buckley: “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with young players who are looking to improve their overall game. We feel that the skills learned at our camp can be the foundation needed to take your game to another level. Our goal for every player is to improve his fundamental tools as well as his enthusiasm for the great game of basketball.”
